Time to Celebrate Results

Each year for the past 15, Marine Money has ranked the shipping industry’s financial performance. Over the years we have followed a growing community of publicly traded companies. Sometimes private companies, ones that happened to then have a debt facility requiring current public reports, would be included. We have charted the industry performance through good markets and bad. We celebrate each and every company and salute the enormous effort of management, staff and the never to be forgotten sea staff for their achievements, none of course more than our winners. But before we get to this year’s winner and to really set the stage for that accomplishment, we want to convey just how fierce the competition was.

We had household names, companies involved in megamergers, giant liners, branded cruise lines, and diversified conglomerates all striving to achieve the best possible returns for their shareholders and themselves.
