Time is fleeting and change is ever present. It has been a year since this same issue was published last year. As we all know, much as changed in our world and that change came faster than anyone might have contemplated. Credit has dried up and markets have collapsed. Sitting here in February 2009, one might question even giving awards for last year. And looking at the transactions in hindsight, one might easily argue that they might not appear to be worthy of an award.
