CIT Ramps up Shipping Activities

FM understands that CIT Group has hired Keith Wentzel, formerly with GMAC and Orix, to serve as the finance company’s Head of Marine lending. Keith replaces Houston based Bob O’Connor who moved to Trico last summer.

CMA Names Morten Arntzen as 2007 Commodore

When you’re hot, you’re hot. Having won Marine Money’s Dealmaker of the Year Award in 2006, OSG President and CEO Morten Arntzen has been given the Connecticut Maritime Association’s highest honor in being named as its 2007 Commodore.
